Spinach Macaroni and Cheese

I saw a variation of this dish on Cooking with the Neely's. It got very high reviews, but it was just too many steps in it for me!! I would have loved to try it, but didn't feel like taking all of that time to make it. I noticed a similar recipe on the back of my kraft cheddar cheese bag during lunch, and decided to try it out. I followed it exactly with the exception of me omitting the bacon. So, instead of the drippings I just used regular clean oil.
It actually turned out pretty goood, and something I can see making again! I can see where the bacon probably would have set it off, but seeing that I don't eat bacon I will never know...

Don't pay any attention to the burnt sides...LOL
