First we are about to start ripping out the master bathroom, which is super small, so we can start the remodel. We decided that we would live with the small bathroom, and not try to expand it so now I need to figure out how I can make the best of this space. Any ideas?? Here are some pics of the bathroom as it is today. Yes, this is it! HELP!!
In the picture below, there is a window behind the door. One idea I did have was to remove the door, and make it a sliding door instead to provide some additional space.
Also, we are still working on the family room. Here is the posting with the pics of the BEFORE look. Painting, and some other design updates have been completed, but we still need to get new furniture, carpet, ottoman, and figure out what are we going to do with our TV.
Hubby wants it above the fireplace, but I like the mirror that is up there, and I know that it will be very awkward trying to watch TV on the sofa that is to the right. Having to look up, and to the right will no be very comfortable!! We don't really care for it where it is now because it is blocking the bookcase. Any ideas?? HELP!
So, as you can see if we were to move it above the fireplace, folks sitting on the sofa to the right (where we always sit) would have to look up and to the right to watch the tv. I just can't see that being comfortable!
This other picture just shows you the love seat that is to the left, and the "bar" that separates the family room from the kitchen. There is nothing else on the other side of the bar. We were thinking about tearing that down though.
Something to think about is that there are "articulating" wall mounts, which are the standard for a TV that big. They pull OUT and from Left to right so you can direct it where you want :) The couch on the right would be just fine!
