Ok, I’m not saying somebody is going to write you a check to complete your errands, even though that would be awesome! However, I’m more so suggesting that you run some of your errands on your lunch breaks.
I’m sure there are a lot of people already taking advantage of that golden hour, but for those of you that don’t, try it! I started making the most of that hour back during my Chicago days. I used to work in a high traffic area downtown right next door to the Sears Tower . I was able to run all my errands including my dentist appointments, all on my lunch hour!
It was a little easier back then because most of the places I needed to go was within walking distance from my job, however today I am still trying my best to take full advantage of that golden hour! Target runs, grocery shopping, nail appointments, dry cleaners, Dr. appointments, etc can all be done on your breaks! Of course you will have to be confident that all of these places can get you in and out! Personally, I know that my time is very valuable so it doesn’t matter if I’m going to these places on my lunch break, or if I’m going on a Saturday afternoon, I cannot afford to sit around in anyone’s waiting room. I choose who I have complete certain services very wisely.
So, what can you take care of on your lunch break? What is near your workplace? How about some "me time"? Is there a salon by your job where you can run in for a quick mani or pedi. Go ahead, and take full advantage of that hour!!
